BRUYNZEEL STORAGE LAUNCHES SYSCO® LIBRARY SHELVING SYSTEM
Bruynzeel Storage Systems has introduced a new library shelving system. Called Sysco® Library, it is a static shelving system with a wide choice of dimensions and finishes. The shelving system’s flexibility allows libraries to select the optimum solution for any space or application and its appealing, flexible design and durability guarantees a high level of sustainability.
Bruynzeel’s new Sysco® Library comes in glass, steel or wood finishes and in colours and layouts to suit the library’s interior. Since design determines the atmosphere in a library, customers can also opt for a solution that will attractively emphasise their library's own identity, e.g. using a logo on an end panel or a unique overprint to highlight certain activities, or even the history of the building.
As study desks, reading areas and storage facilities are often located within the same room, it is important that people are able to read and study in a peaceful environment. Therefore a really important feature of Sysco® Library is that it can be fitted with acoustic dampening panels to help sound absorption. The same thinking has also been incorporated in the accessories design, e.g. the magazine display flap, for instance, is fitted with a soft-closer so it can be closed almost silently. Sysco® Library is also offered in a wide range of other accessories and signage so that everything can be stored and displayed in a well-organised manner.
“A library is a dynamic environment that provides the freedom to relax, meet, discover and to promote personal development. Library shelving systems can play a vital part in this” said Alan Percy, General Sales Manager at Bruynzeel. “Whether the client is a public library, a university library, a research centre or a school library, Sysco® Library can be fully customised to meet its particular image or concept.”
