Energy Management takes leading role at The Facilities Show
At a time when facilities managers are taking greater responsibility for the energy management of their buildings, The Facilities Show 2010, which is taking place from 11 – 13 May 2010 at the NEC Birmingham, is set to launch the Energy Management Zone. This new zone will house some of the leading providers of energy products and services to give visitors the opportunity to address all their energy management needs in one dedicated pavilion.
Now established as the UK’s leading FM event and produced in association with the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM), The Facilities Show 2010 is set to build on last year’s success when more than 19,000* professionals descended on the NEC Birmingham.
Within the first ever Energy Management Zone, a raft of industry-renowned companies will showcase their latest products and services including Camfil Farr, Energy Intelligence Group and IM Serve.
Mark Rimmer, Event Manager of The Facilities Show, said: “The reason The Facilities Show won the AEO Award for Best Trade Exhibition last year was because we evolve the event according to the needs of the industry. We know that 30% of last year’s visitors had purchasing responsibility for energy management or supply so we wanted to give our visitors a dedicated area to address their requirements.”
In addition to the Energy Management Zone, The Facilities Show 2010 will once again house the Green FM Trail. Back by popular demand, the Trail will highlight exhibitors offering advice, product and services in response to the ever growing green challenge.
Education will take centre stage at The Facilities Show with two dedicated seminar theatres on the exhibition floor. Complimentary seminar programmes will be running in The Facilities Show Seminar Theatre, sponsored by Moneypenny, and The Sustainable FM Academy, sponsored by FMX. In these seminars, visitors will be able to hear from key industry figures and learn about the latest developments in the industry.Further details on The Facilities Show 2010 will be announced in the coming weeks.
