Prop IT finds its home at The Facilities Show 2010
At a time when organisations are seeking more efficient, productive and sustainable FM solutions, The Facilities Show is set to highlight such products to its visitors with a dedicated trail. New for 2010, the Prop IT Trail will highlight market leading companies offering cutting edge products in computer aided facilities management (CAFM), document management, resource booking software, security and fire services, mobile communication and systems integration.
Winner of the 2009 AEO Award for Best Trade Exhibition, The Facilities Show 2010 is set to build on last year’s success when more than 19,000* professionals descended on the NEC Birmingham. The show is established as the UK’s leading FM event and is produced in association with the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM).
FSI, Serco – FM Easy and Qube Global Software are just a few of the companies participating in the first ever Prop IT Trail.
Adrian Newton, Portfolio Director of Safety and Building Management at UBM Live, organisers of The Facilities Show, said: “The reason the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) recognised The Facilities Show as the best trade exhibition in 2009 is because we constantly adapt to the needs of FM professionals. In today’s industry, visitors need the latest sustainable technologies and this trail will highlight the exhibitors providing these kinds of products.”
In addition to the Prop IT Trail, the Green FM Trail will return to The Facilities Show 2010. Back by popular demand, this trail will highlight exhibitors at The Facilities Show offering advice, product and services in response to the ever growing green challenge.
Also new for 2010, The Facilities Show will feature its first Energy Management Zone, sponsored by powerPerfector. Housing some of the leading providers of energy products and services, visitors will have the opportunity to address all their energy management needs in one dedicated pavilion.
Education will take centre stage at the event with two dedicated seminar theatres on the exhibition floor. Complimentary seminar programmes will be running in The Facilities Show Seminar Theatre, sponsored by Moneypenny, and The Sustainable FM Academy, sponsored by FMX. In these seminars, visitors will be able to hear from key industry figures and learn about the latest developments in the industry.
